Haw Haw Haw! Clinton disses Tea Parties

Lots of juiciness in this article at the Boston Herald. First, it talks about the rise of the tea parties as a political force. Then it moves to Scott Brown's downplaying of the tea party influence on his campaign. (This is a logical step, just like Glenn Beck's reticence to affirm Republicans. With Glenn, it has to do with being sure no one takes the rebellion for granted...that the tea parties are not to be controlled by ANYONE. We want the Constitution of the United States to be honored. That's what we want! With Brown, it has to do with being independent from outside forces. This is a danger the tea parties face as we become more organized as a force. We are NOT like ACORN.)

The article ends with Clinton saying this hilarious comment. Does he not SEE that that is EXACTLY the problem the tea parties are concerned about?

Said Clinton, “I thought Massachusetts knew more about American history than anybody else, and understood the Boston Tea Party was a revolt against abuse of power, not against government itself.”
